Red Wine Sangria

Ingredients:

Red Wine Sangria:
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 lime, sliced
1 green apple, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brandy
1 bottle red wine, merlot
1 can 7-UP, chilled

Garnish:
Orange slices
Lemon slices
Lime slices

Directions:
In a large pitcher, add the orange, lemon, lime, and apple slices. Sprinkle in the sugar and muddle everything together to release the fruit juices and help dissolve the sugar.

Pour in the brandy and red wine, stirring well to combine. Place the sangria in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 1 hour so the flavors can fully develop.

Just before serving, add the 7-Up and gently stir. Serve over ice and garnish with extra fruit slices if desired.
