Basil Lemon Martini Pitcher

Ingredients:
Basil Lemon Martini Pitcher:
1 cup fresh basil
2 cups citron vodka
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup Simple Syrup
Garnish:
Lemon slice
Fresh basil sprig
Directions:
In a large pitcher, muddle fresh basil with lemon juice until the basil is well bruised. Add the vodka and simple syrup, then let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes to infuse. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, pour in some of the basil mixture, and shake well. Strain into a glasses, garnish, and enjoy.
You can use 1 1/2 cups of Freshly Squeezed Lemonade instead of the lemon juice and simple syrup.
