Herb and Pecan Cheese Spread, Christmas Tree Shaped

Ingredients:
Herb and Pecan Cheese Spread, Christmas Tree Shaped:
1 cup cream cheese, room temperature
2 Tbsp sour cream
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated, plus two stars cut out
1/3 cup pecans, finely chopped
1/2 cup fresh chives, minced, divided
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped, divided

Directions:
In a bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cheddar cheese, pecans, 1/4 cup chives, and 1/4 cup parsley, mixing until everything is well blended.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/4 cup chives and 1/4 cup parsley together.
Lay a double layer of cling film on your workspace, large enough to wrap the cheese mixture. Sprinkle a small amount of the herb mixture in the center of the cling film. Spoon the cream cheese mixture on top of the herbs and gently shape it into a tree. Wrap the cling film loosely around the mixture and continue shaping it into a neat tree form. Unwrap, sprinkle the remaining herb mixture over the top and sides, then wrap it again, tightening the shape as needed. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow it to firm up.
When ready to serve, remove the cheese tree from the fridge and carefully peel off the cling film. Transfer it to a serving dish. Decorate with pomegranate seeds as “lights” and use the cheese star—secured with a toothpick—as the topper.
