Hot Dog Onions

Ingredients:
Hot Dog Onions:
2 large onions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 cup tomato sauce
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 Tbsp Frank’s hot sauce
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
Heat oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the onions and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft and translucent. Add the tomato sauce, 1 1/4 cups of water, apple cider vinegar, Frank’s hot sauce, tomato paste, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and let the mixture simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches your desired consistency.
