Roasted Turnips
Serves: Four | Prep: 15 min | Cook: 25 min
Ingredients:
Roasted Asparagus:
2 lbs turnip
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
Preheat the oven 450F/220C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Peel the turnip and cut them into evenly sized cubes, about 1-inch each. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until the turnips are evenly coated.
Spread the cubes out in a single layer on the prepared tray, making sure they aren’t crowded so they roast instead of steam. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re golden on the edges and tender in the center.
For extra flavor, you can drizzle a little honey or maple syrup over them and cook for 5 minutes more.
