Sardine Spread Pate

Ingredients:
Sardine Spread Pate:
1 4-5 oz tin sardines in brine, undrained
1 Hard Boiled Egg, roughly chopped
1 shallot, roughly chopped
1 garlic clove, peelked
2 Tbsp butter, room temperature
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, roughly chopped
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp capers, drained
1 Tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Add the undrained sardines, egg, shallot, garlic, butter, lemon juice, parsley, mustard, and capers to a blender or food processor. Blend for about 30 seconds until everything begins to combine. With the blender running, slowly pour the olive oil through the top and continue blending until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Transfer to a serving dish and chill slightly before serving with Whole Wheat Olive Oil Crackers, Bruschetta.
