Freezer Drawer Margaritas

Serves: Eight | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 0 min

Ingredients:

Freezer Drawer Margaritas:
1 L bottle of tequila
1 cup orange liqueur
1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

Garnish:
Lime halves

Directions:
Pour about 2 cups of tequila out of a 1-liter bottle to make room for the other ingredients. Add the orange liqueur and fresh lime juice directly into the bottle. Put the cap back on and shake well until everything is fully mixed. Place the bottle in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the margarita is well chilled.

While you’re juicing the limes, place a few of the spent lime halves in the freezer as well, these make a great icy garnish when you’re ready to serve. When it’s time to enjoy, salt the rim of your glass if you like, fill the glass with ice, and pour in the freezer-chilled margarita.

For a little twist, you can add sliced jalapeño for some heat or a splash of orange juice to turn it into a California Margarita..
