Cast Iron Peach Crumble

Serves: Six | Prep: 25 min | Cook: 25 min

Ingredients:

Cast Iron Peaches:
2 lbs ripe peaches, pitted and sliced 1/2-inch thick
1 tsp lemon zest
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 Tbsp flour
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extrct
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

Crumble:
3/4 cup butter, room temperature
3/4 cup oats
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup pecan, toasted and roughly chopped

Directions:
Preheat oven 350°F/180°C.

In a large bowl, toss the peaches with the lemon zest, lemon juice, flour, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until evenly coated. Transfer the peach mixture to a 10-inch cast iron skillet and spread it out evenly.

To make the crumble topping, mix the butter, oats, brown sugar, and flour together until fully incorporated and crumbly. Sprinkle the toasted pecans evenly over the peach mixture, then dollop the crumble topping over the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crisp and the peaches are bubbling. Let cool for 15–20 minutes before serving.
